About Celeste
Celeste focuses her writing on topics for women—often showing what NOT to do by sharing her own frustrating (and embarrassing) experiences. Celeste knows what it is like to be a mom. She knows what it is like to learn to play golf. She knows the frustrations of juggling kids, career, and life—and let’s face it, sometimes it just ain’t pretty.
In addition to From the Red Tees, Celeste is author of The Coffee Mom’s Devotional (Regal, February 2009). This book offers moms a delicious “soul-sip,” encouraging them to let Jesus, not the local barista, fill their cup(s). Celeste is also a contributing author to The Mommy Diaries, Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Tribute to Moms, Chicken Soup for the Women Golfer’s Soul, and Mother’s Know Best.
Currently, Celeste works as Communications Director for Smoky Hill Vineyard. She is a regular contributor to Golfer Girl Magazine and (Denver) Broncos Magazine. Her work has appeared in Today’s Christian Woman, MomSense Magazine, ePregnancy Magazine, and on DenverBroncos.com. She has also written a newspaper column, “A Mom Moment” for The Parker Chronicle.
Celeste graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She was featured in the September 2007 issue of Colorado AvidGolfer and has appeared segments on FOX NFL Sunday. She is a former co-captain of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. When she is not writing or playing with her daughters, she enjoys reading, photography, and golf. She lives in Colorado with her husband, Pete, and their two daughters, Peyton (9) and Morgan (4).
